Anne Abel moved to Chicago from suburban Philadelphia in January 2016, for what she thought would be only four months. Anne received a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University, an MBA from The University of Chicago, and an MFA in creative non-fiction from The New School of Social Research, and has been published in The Philadelphia Daily News, Lilith, and Jewish Exponent. She recently jumped into the city's live lit scene, with performances at Story Lab, Is This A Thing?, Story Sessions, Homewood Stories, and Tenx9. Anne discovered Bruce Springsteen late in life and is trying to make up for lost time.

Please join Anne and our other amazing readers on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the upstairs bar at Hopleaf. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7:30. It's free, and 21-and-over. RSVP on Facebook.
