Meet the Readers: Bridget Gordon

Bridget Gordon

Bridget Gordon (she/her, fae/faer) is a queer trans woman and poet living in Chicago. A former MFA student and current healthcare worker, her poetry, songwriting, and short-form prose is enraptured with queer longing, identity, liminality, and desire. Bridget has been published in Moist Poetry Journal, Milwaukee Avenue Messenger, Pitymilk Press, and Red Rock Review, among others. Fae is the author of two poetry collections: if you know the color of their eyes it’s already too late (Raging Opossum Press, 2026), and the rest is up to you, love (self-published, 2026). She does guitar, vox, and lyrics for Chicago-based tgirl glam-punk band Muff Trade. Fae lives with her husband, metamour, cat, three guitars, and an ominously large TBR pile.

Please join Bridget and our other amazing readers on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026 in the upstairs bar at Hopleaf. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7:30. It's free, and 21-and-over. Please RSVP on Facebook.
