Meet the Readers: Fez Avery

Fez Avery is the author of CLAYBOY (Write Bloody Publishing, 2026). He holds an MFA in poetry from Virginia Tech, is pursuing a PhD in poetry at Western Michigan University, and is the 2026-2027 Visiting Instructor of Creative Writing at Interlochen Arts Academy. His work can be found in The Journal, Gulf Coast, Passages North, swamp pink, and elsewhere. He lives in Michigan with his partner, their two cats, and a horse named Clementine.
