Meet the Readers: Kate Lechler

Kate Lechler’s work has appeared in Shimmer Magazine, PodCastle, Fireside Fiction, Kaleidotrope, and The Deadlands, among other places. Kate lives in Logan Square with their good dog Charlie and teaches first-year writing for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. When they are not working on a novel about sexy vampire-pirates, there’s a good chance you’ll find them singing karaoke whenever possible or gardening in their backyard.
