Meet Our Readers: Kay Daly

This Kay Daly is not the gun-toting Republican who failed in her bid for representative of the 13th Congressional District of North Carolina in 2016. She is not the pioneering female advertising copywriter and inspiration for Mad Men’s Peggy Olson. Regrettably, she is not the president of the Betty White Fan Club. This is a simpler Kay Daly, a purer one, perhaps. This is the Kay Daly who loves Chicago, hangs with her husband, pets her cats, works as an editor at an education nonprofit, has a Ph.D. but doesn’t go by “doctor,” and hopes to publish a novel someday. Go easy on her.

Please join Kay and our other amazing readers on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in the upstairs bar at Hopleaf. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7:30. It's free, and 21-and-over. Please RSVP on Facebook.
