Meet Our Readers: Lori Rader-Day

Lori Rader-Day's debut mystery, The Black Hour, won the 2014 Anthony Award for Best First Novel and was a finalist for the Mary Higgins Clark Award, as well as Barry and Macavity awards. Her second novel, Little Pretty Things, received a starred review from Booklist and was named a 2015 "most arresting crime novel" by Kirkus Reviews. Lori's short fiction has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Time Out Chicago, Good Housekeeping, and others. Lori lives in Chicago, where she teaches mystery writing at StoryStudio Chicago and is the brand new president of the Midwest chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.
